Get yourself a frog and let him run up and down the windscreen. His sticky long tongue does the trick, the only downside is you now have a windscreen of salivation from a greedy green amphibian

How about a huge flynet squatter thing - the tennis racket type - shaped like the car's head on profile and mounted on the front bumper?

It all makes sense now, this is why Boxter owners drive on peoples tails. They are not trying to race us, merely slipstreaming to avoid bugs on their paintwork. Oh how I have miss judged them.

if it's only the windscreen i use a pan scourer with hot soapy water.

American conventional big trucks used to have a perspex bug deflector across the hood - a new Idea for Muz, perhaps?
