After - just wanted to have a tweaked engine to transplant when the stock one starts to wear out.

At least you wont be disapointed ,

Its amazing how many people actually seem to look forward to detonating an engine as an excuse to rebuild it

Too true... I just couldnt afford that strategy

Mikey, I think you will find it will last longer than you think. Im going from some of the miles the yanks are clocking up. A testament to the strenght of the engine. With that in mind, the cost benefit of sticking another stock lump back in may be better than you think, compared to one with a fortune spent on it. Plus im guessing you dont do many miles in it?

Yeah a stock lump would be the easy route
I do ~8k a year in the S, so it may well last a few years

Ever thought of just buying an Exige S?

I'm starting to think this would be an excellent addition to the stabe.

By all accounts the new one is fantastic. I was thinking in terms of a Noble but an Exige and the S would be good partners

Alaniz is regarded as one of the best NA tuners.

His website will give you an idea of some of the work/parts you would need.
