Default Bulbs

Hi all, I have got a sidelight out and was wondering what would be the best replacement and how easy is it to replace?

Also I have a slight rip in the drivers side carpet just under the front seat, how much would a replacement carpet be for this?

Just replaced mine with LEDs I prefer the White look rather than the oem bulbs which look yellow but it's a personal thing. As for replacing the bulb it's a bit fiddly you need to turn the wheel so you.have access then undo 2 clips and pull back the liner...then spend 20 mins fumbling and swearing till you get the replacement bulb back in place

This is exactly right. Simply changing a sidelight bulb is stupidly difficult and fiddly. Most of the time you'll be working in braille.

Put Cree Bulbs in mine bit more £s, it is possible to do from under hood as I did
the split may conceal clips that were put in the crossmember

Tip care of Uncle Fester which works a treat is to switch the lights on to check all is working before refitting bulb holder back into its position plus this light helps you see where it goes back.

As mentioned, its a PITA to do, but possible. I managed to do mine from the engine side, but caused countless cuts and scratches on my arm and hands by going through a rather small cut-out on the side.

Good Luck
