Default Bungs

Now don't you all start with the real men don't wear bungs comments

I was just wondering who sells them, how much are they and do they work?
Having had the HKS system a grand total of 24hrs, i'm still getting used to the great noise. But I can see there are going to be days when I don't want to wake the dead plus Mrs Pie now says I sound like the local Kevins from Maccy Ds' carpark There's gonna be trouble with comments like that

I am very dubious about putting a big exhaust on my car. I predict you will be changing this soon, the noise will do your head in and you dont want to be part of the chav set do you

Jamie it's quite load and sounds ooo so lush, i think the HKS manifold i have makes it louder compared to ther systems i've heard.
I didn't notice any droning yesterday at motorway speeds, then again you can't really hear that much roof down anyhow. But around builtup areas when you toddling along in traffice, yes it does drone, unless your coasting in 6th, it seems to occur between 2-3.5k then it goes (will have a check on this)

Toke on Trent silly me and those typo's ahem
I am gonna have to hear one of these exhausts soon I reckon. Maybe someone round my way has one I can listen to , I am off all next week so i could drive to them maybe.

Jamie I would advise you physically sit in the car to get an idea of how it sounds. Avi files and the such, only give you half the picture, you need to feel it

Come on over to toke on trent (damn this keyboard sucks ) and i'll take you for a blast, no worries. Obviously if your a million miles away, this may prove difficult.

Now about these bungs.........

Had mine on for months now and its really only droning between 2500 -3500rmp, without the roof on its not so noticable, so would only be bothered when winter comes.(then you just turn the cd's up) As for waking the dead i leave my garage at 6:30am and had no comments from the neighbours, even after asking if its loud.

IMHO, the HKS gets quieter after a few months of use (or my hearing is diminishing).
