Default Bye bye S2000

Due to a baby due very soon and needing a slightly more practical car I have had to let my S go today.

I am a 35 year old bloke who had owned God knows how may nice cars in the past and (I can't believe I am saying this) I nearly cried.

I loved everything about that car the look, the feel, the smell, the noise.......everything.

A car has never got under my skin so much.

Bye bye dear friend xx

1 x S2000 and 1 x Grand Espace over here. Job done.

Suits me, the missus, the 2 kids and the dog.

S2000 for me, Espace for family/van/tip runs/dog/boring large stuff from B&Q.

Parenting doesn't mean you have to give up everything, only sleep (and most of the money you'll ever earn)

From the tone of your post fella, you really had better keep your beloved S and do as others here have done i.e. get a half-reasonable (age/condition) boremobile for sprog-related stuff. Dig in dawg and hang on to that S!!

I actually love the Exige more than i did the S & she is staying full stop. Bambinos are not on my radar by any stretch of the imagination but my fun car would stay regardless.

Can sympathise with the sadnes of letting the S go...i had a lump in my throat driving to the dealer on the P/X....then five mins after i got the keys to the Lotus & the sports exhaust said hello i was hooked & in love with another......yes i'm a slut..& proud of it.

Not having a sprog because its bye bye cherished car is a blatant excuse.

One can always buy a stupid vectra to carry the whole family albeit not so much in style but still in comfort.
