Default CAI mounting broken

I have a cheapie no name brand cold air induction.

It fits perfectly, everything lines up correctly etc etc.

There is the small rubber mounting that sits at the bottom of the radiator (part of the car not the cai). It has fallen off, seems it was glued to the car not bolted.

How else can i mount the CAI and support it ? I have used cable ties for a temporary fix (hahaha).

Thank

if it's the ebay special, then mine used an existing hole on the front frame. no drilling required, just needed to be bolted up.
i almost recall it being a set-nut in the frame, so only 1 nut was needed.

Yip, thats where it was fitted.

I cant remember if the rubber mount came with the induction, or if it was on the car. hmmm

Worthwhile checking, it might be bolted from under the car.

Thanks for kickstarting my brain. lol

mine came with filter.

just a standard cotton reel bush, ebay should have 'em, or classic car places. not sure if motor factors will as they haven't been used on cars for a while (atleast, not factory fit)
