Paint them with G2 or get them passivated.

It's either something coming out of the pads or corrosion on the caliper body.

Do a search for Savage Caliper Paint.

It is very similar to the G2 paint but much easier to get hold of in the UK.

Im assuming that you all are just painting the front faces of the calipers , the bits you can see as having them off to clean its not a quick job to do the entire unit. The rear calipers espeshially as its a feking huge lump

I bought some H/Temp satin black paint to paint them with when I get time.

Any advice about suitability? Has anyone else used it? I didn't want to go to the trouble of 2-part stuff.

I used this on my 53 and 06, did track days and all sorts works very well. Just make sure you prepare the calipers well and do two coats.
