http://www.parking-appeals.gov.uk/IveRecei....asp?codeval=14

the codes are only two digits, so it was either:

Not a for parking offence

Or
was incorrectly issued (which would be instantly thrown out)

Hmmm I am confused!!

It has actually been issued by the local police rather than the council. Will the codes still be the same??!!

More digging............

Not really my field this, but you need to get down there and examine the situation in detail - take plenty of photos. Double yellow lines need to be entirely unbroken along their whole length and have the little termination bars at right angles at the end of each stretch. If the lines are broken anywhere or the end bars are not there, or obliterated, then the ticket isn't lawful.

You really need to find out what the ticket code is for though. If it's for obstruction a ticket can be issued for that anywhere irrespective of whether there are markings or not.

The offence they have listed is parking in a "no waiting area"

More research going on.............

If there is any error on the form, road name, offence, reg etc,etc then it will be thrown out. The Parking attendant will also be charged about

It was offence code 47 issued by police not council, have been apealing by letter but like edd said this one seems to have slipped through still arguing over others!
No double yellows lines at all or single yellows or parking bays just public highway. It's an access road to Council property half is highway & half Council just to make it confusing and they have just confirmed I was on the highways bit doh!
Issued tickets have 2 different street names.By there own admission they can't decide which is the most applicable and they did call Edds Vectra an Astra in one!
Court Summons says Road Traffic Act 1984 Section 5 and prohibition waiting order.
Look at the bright side guys by the end of this If I'm not locked up I'll be our resident S2KI parking ticket expert!

So it seems its a road traffic offence as opposed to a parking offence.

Yeah parked there loads of times before!

No they weren't posted they were stuck on!! They 5 were issued over a period of time, it takes a while to get through to sam!!!!!

Hmmm so if it is classed as a road traffic offence surely points can be issued too?!!!!!!!
