Default Can this be right.

Had my edition 100 a few months now so i think its time for a few mods now, well thats what i thought until i got of the phone from abp motorsport according to them the aem v2 induction kit wont fit any s2 from 05 onwards they have tried and the same for the exhaust nothing to fit the 09's,now is this complete bollox or what.
Not that i'm giving up yet i will be trying tdi north next, anyhow is there anybody on here done these mods too a later s2,i'm sure i spotted a aem fitted to a 09 black s2 at JAE.

Sounds odd to me, Chris There is no change that would stop an AEM V2 fitting 05 onwards.

Later MY06+ DBW cars have got an inlet air temperature probe in the OEM rubber pipe between the throttle body and airbox. AEM intakes designed for earlier cars will not have a hole to insert the probe. However, I'm sure that AEM will have a model available for later cars by now. If they don't, you could just drill a suitable size hole.

Chris.

There are subtle changes to the exhaust hangers/position as well

ABP Motorsport are about 1 mile away from me and there is no chance i'd let them near my car.

I have a 56 plate DBW car and I have an AEM v2 plus spoon exhaust and Mugen manifold. No problems getting mods for late cars, shop around. eBay is good!
