Check all your brakes discs and the like before setting off! Mine were all rusty and the handbrake had stuck on.

Mine's currently snuggled up in the garage, on the flat, in gear and handbrake off

I think the A69 is ok at the moment Pete. Amanda got to work in Hexham this morning after a lot of shovelling and a push. It's our rural roads that are terrible. I haven't bothered going to work all week as I can work from home so it's not worth the risk.

Thanks Neil, glad to hear Amanda is braving the elements and earning the bucks . Been working from home myself for the last couple of days as well. Hopefully the 69 is ok between Carlisle and Hexham, I'm guessing it's being well used as the A66 is closed. Snowing again here now so

Quick update the snow has stopped falling now car is still burried. The roads although are tricky because they have turned to slush but it was minus 3 on my navara temp gaugejust before i got out at 3 oclock so things will freeze up quickly. Be extra careful if you are out in the S.

No. They were too much in shock of my Alaskan fox hat with a tail flapping along in the breeze.
