to you all

I use the search along with my elephantine memory. As I remember many threads, it's much easier to find them.

Hi everyone!!

Yep, still under warranty until April thank god! Rattle wise, no, Honda did nothing for me, however the strangest thing happened, I took it for its 3rd service 8 weeks ago and ever since there have been no rattle whatsoever, the engine sounds brilliant and completely rattle free (when it works!!)

I really do hope its the ECU and not the engine!

I need to call AA in the morning to get it picked up and taken to Honda.

I'll let you know how they get on!!

Could have been very scary on the motorway!

Really piss*ed off with the Honda garage.

My car was picked up this morning and dropped off at Honda by the AA. Honda garage have just called me to say that they've reset the fault code and now the car runs fine, what sort of fuc*ing solution is that?!?! I could've asked the AA to do that on Christmas Eve and saved me being stranded for 3 hours!!!

The point is, it's happened before so the chances are it will happen a third time!!

They say there is no more they can do now the fault is cleared!!

What am I supposed to do? If I was in the fast line on the motorway it would be very very dangerous, with that in the back of my mind how can I look forward to driving the car??

you know, this is just typical of a Honda garage. Three years ago, when my Accord Type R was in for what I suspected as a noisy wheel bearing, they concluded it was the Goodyear F1 tyres making the "noise"... and I was told my car wasn't an Accord,it was a Civic (that Honda never made an Accord Type R.... ). Yeah ok, shall I show you a well know Youtube video with JC passengering in a white one, driven by Damon Hill?! such tw*ts they are (Gordons Honda). The wheel bearing was absolutely sha**ed and my good friend Andy from VTECdirect helped me change it.
They need to do some investigative work on the VSA, its plain and clear that they don't want to use YOUR warranty. Can they not be bothered or something?

Get yourself down there pronto, and get the Dealer Principal involved. Take no sh*t from the service manager, sometimes you have to play hardball with "reluctant to help" dealers.
