Car dangerous after alignment
Have got my car back after a full alignment and it's dangerous to drive, seems to be steering from the rear excessively as have to correct it on anything but a slow corner left or right.also turn in seems more pronounced which may exaggerate/cause the above...it's an 02 but with 17"s so I wonder was it setup with 16" settings
Are the settings much different pre/post 04
Fitter said it was way out but was perfect now, afraid of the car in the wet now......lol
Never was before

Welcome to the world of S2000 handling at last!
Your car is fine, you are damaged. Go out and get used to the car

04 settings are used
we have no mention of what tyre sizes are used, but both front and rears are wider on OEM 17s compared to OEM 16s
There are plenty of other systems that can be used that will offer up hunter style accuracy

Ultra Nexus. Can you offer me some geo advice on good settings for my particular wheels and tyre set up?
17x9 +30 front wheel 17x9.5 +30 Rear wheel. 225 front tyre and 255 rears.

-1.7 front camber, 0 toe, standard Castor.
-2.5 rear camber, 2mm toe in.
With your tyre compound i'd be pushed to go to -3 rear and -2 front as you'll be able to create enough roll to give a flat contact patch when cornering. However if your running on the strip mainly -1.5 rear and - 0.8 front.

If the rear is set to toe out, that is not good at all.
More toe in will stabilise things, and is a great idea for those of us who are not driving gods. It will lead to increased tyre wear, but that's cheaper than crashing.
