Same for myself and my wife we are both 30 yrs old....driving for 12 no claims or convictions...................experienced far more powerful cars in the past....so know how to drive fast cars.......Flux wanted 1200!!! with other companies coming in at 1500 - 2000!! are you kidding me!! I said to my wife there s no way i am buying an s2000 if we have to pay that sort of money...anyway to cut a long story short....after phoning 10 + different companys Privilage Insurance came in at 680 Fully comp unlimited mileage so we went with them...still expensive when you consider I was paying 480 for a 300 bhp rear wheel drive Nissan S14A Touring! whih was far more difficult to keep on the road thann the S2K!!

Call Lifesure

They're a broker and looked after me well for 6 years. They changed my insurer 4 out of the 6 years to keep the price at its lowest.

Admiral, I know they are the big man but they always come up trumps for me, my rover 214 back in 1992, my merc in 2001, my L200 in 2005 or my S in 2008. All of which have been at various points in the insurance scale.

I am with you on this one Carrie,

I'd suggest making it slightly less painful, by having a glass of white wine, while doing this chore, and boy is it a chore.

Question

They seem to be very expensive cars to insure.
I came from a Porsche 968, also group 20, but the insurance nearly doubled
Folks must be wrecking them quite regular - wonder why
