Hi. My car keeps dying whilst driving and then takes 5 or 10 minutes to start again, it loses all power while driving and the green key light flickers for a few seconds.

I have a clifford concept 300 alarm if that helps. Thanks in advance

 

Sounds like an immobiliser issue. Call Clifford.

 

Thanks for the reply, I also thought it could be the immobiliser. Wasn't sure tho

 

If its flashing the key then its something to do with the ignition so my guess would be immobilizer, check the wiring to it but failing that call clifford.

 

Key battery?

 

The green key flashed for about 2 or 3 seconds, I've just gone and got a new battery for the car as it was pretty old, I was thinking about a new key fob battery. Could be worth a try.

Apparently there is a battery pack inside the siren so I'm wondering if the battery on that could be dying.....who knows haha
