fob battery dead
Hi, So i did a stupid thing, the battery in the first fob went flat ages ago, and instead of get a new battery then, i used the second fob, and now thats flat too. This evening i had to unlock the car with the key and sit in the car for 15 min with the car wailing trying to find a way of turning the immobilizer off until eventually the button worked! I've had to order new ones off the net, even maplin doesnt stock this stupid size battery..
My question is, I've only locked the car with the key now, but the auto immobiliser comes on after 30 seconds, is there a sequence twiddling the ignition key on/off to disarm it so i can get to work tomorrow?
mine is this shape key...

Thanks,Dan

You might want to make a note of Hamilton & Palmer's details for the future. The unit can become quite temperamental in later life. I had to swap the circuit board on mine this year after a year of so of intermittent problems.
