Default Car or Pump

Just got covered in V Power!

Got to £50 and as I turned to look back at the car, noticed it was spilling out over me and onto the floor.

Guy behind counter says it's the car whereas partner says it's the pump. Which is it?

Never done it with my car in 65k miles, the only problem I have is if the nozzle isn't in straight the pumps cut out all the time.

ITS THE PUMP, CLAIM

Pump will only cut off if the nozzle is inserted fully ... user error I think ;P

Pump. That's one big safety hazzard there. I nkow that on my car any fuel pump does not work unless the nozzle is in fully and straight. If it didn't cut off then the petrol station has a big problem.

Nozzle was in fully - I might be a girl but I do know how to put fuel in my car

Now oil......

Will contact Shell tomorrow and take it up directly with them rather than deal with local garage.
