veehexx i hope to find the fault has moved with the injector to No1 fingers crossed.I will try your system as it covers the codes i have been getting.
Also looking at buying one of these scanners could be a good investment
I have cover on the car but it only pays for repairs not diagnostics so i dont mind finding the fault and spending on the repair just need to get to that point.

Cheers Liam

I posted a while ago i had an injector problem on my CTR, started as an intermitant misfire.Eventually at high RPM the output transistor for that cylinder blew causing the ECU to be US.Problem was a faulty injector giving a high resistance eventually backfeeding to the ECU at high RPM blowing the output transistor.
A quick resistance reading of the injectors one by one revealed the problem.Replacement injector and ECU (keys recoding also) and all was fine.

AL do you recall the details for checking the resistance ie where to take a reading and the range they should run in??

Liam, i cannot remember the actual readings, it was about 2 years ago.The faulty injector was obviously different to the other 3 injectors.

You can check the injectors in place, all you need to do is unplug the wire harness connector and take a resistance reading across the terminals.Obviously they should all be a similar reading, mine was very obvious, infact i still have the faulty one somewhere and have 3 spare 'good' ones. This remember was for a CTR, not sure if the injector spec is the same for the S2000?

OK so this topic is live for me again after weeks of good running this morning the car started rough and threw a cell light.

Having taken some advice i now own a fault scanner (been sat there weeks waiting lol)
Plugged it in to find the same old Code P0303
So having moved the injector and coil to another cylinder i feel it is fair to say the fault is not those components.

A wiggle and pull off the injector plug gave good running this morning but i can get the fault to repeat whilst playing under the hood.

So the question i have is what else can be checked do the injector plugs or loom give issues? or the unit that controls it all the ECU?

Advice is all welcome and thanks for that given so far!!!

Cheers Liam
