Default Center of Gravity - Full pics of alignment

Hi Chaps and Chapettes..

For the regulars here, they will recall me waxing lyrical about how great my CofG day was. It really is a different handling car. The S handles way way way better than stock.

Now Chris reckons 15% of that is down to my Anti roll bar choice.
The rest is purely down to the Geo settings.

Some here have had Chris work his magic on their car - and have posted their experience, but I haven't seen too many photo's on what's involved.

So when I visited, I blagged Jayne's camera ( I forgot my own ) - and started taking piccies at various points throughout the day...

My piccie gallery of the Center of Gravity day is here with the final settings.
Center of Gravity - The man at work.

BTW - I still can't stop smiling at how well this car handles. God it is good.

Oh... and Isn't Moonrock really the best colour

Best

Cusco -They are way stiffer than stock.

To be honest - Chris didn't push the sale here. He recommended I do the geo first and I try out the ARB's in a few months time.

I actually did some digging ahead of the booking - and wanted the ARB's done when I was there.

Chris actually was trying to talk me out of the ARB kit until a later date.

Actually - It was a difficult decision as to whether to do the ARB's at the same time as the geo . I like the Edisonian approach of changing one thing at a time to see what works and why.

But... It's a long round trip... and there is an economy of economic scale of getting the car up on the ramps for the bush greasing.

Well - I'm still trying to work out the difference from the geo and the rollbars.

I believe Chris is right on his ration on the geo.

In hindsight - I wish I had a bit more cash- and did 2 trips to tell the difference clearly.

But how it handles now - is amazing... the car handles as if it is on rails.
Although you can push the back end out ( pm Legalbill - A Yank I met up with this week - ).

I have way more confidence in the car, it does what I expect it to do, and the turn in is much sharper.

Chris mentioned that if I want to get into bracing - start at the back - and work forward...

I might take him up on it.

Cheers

Nope. Nowhere near to the accuracy that Chris can.

Have you ever seen the kit that Honda / Kwik Fit etc etc use....
It's like having dental surgery in Roman times in comparision.
