the leather consol cover i have is slightly larger on one side than the other, drivers side has a smaller leather area than what the passenger side has, or it might just look like that now its on. didnt check before i fitted it as i wanted to get it on.

I have always been concerned about carbon fibre bits on a car. If the whole car isnt made out of carbon fibe i.e racing car and you just put the odd bit on a street car it looks like a fat bird eating a weightwatchers sandwich if you know what I mean..
I like it but still not sure. Certainly like the ease of sliding a leather cover over the existing console rather than taking it to pieces.
Think I will stay with carpet for the time being, spend the money on a CAI or put it towards the stereo, wheels or exhaust..

Gotta admit I think CF can make a car look really cheap and nasty.
This certainly has that appearance I'm afraid. But this is only my personal choice of course

If it was a case of stripping the car out and making everything as light as possible - then there's a point to it.
Whether or not it's real c/f, it looks like a Lax Power job on a road car. May as well get some 'dashboard film' for a tenner from Hellfrauds and stick it on everything if you're going down that route.

It doesn't fit properly on the RHD S2000 unless you buy a LHD centre console to cover the gap around where the handbrake should be, also half of the interior has to be removed to get it to fit.
In short its not worth the money unless your a carbon freak....(like me)
