501 bulbs and pull the wheels off and the wheel liners and you can get in fine.

Did mine this weekend.

i recently changed my front indicator bulbs on my S (02) and came in through the inner wings, and thought thats how you change the sidelight bulbs, and after that didnt want to attempt them.

If you have smallish hands mine are a size 8 (medium) you can put the wheels on full lock (Full left to do drivers and vice versa) pull down lining and get a hand in to do it. Takes about 20 minutes for both sides (with fiddling as you have to do most of the fitting by feel). If you have larger hands, forget it, and take the wheel off.

If you have an axle jack then it will make it much easier as even with the wheels on full lock theres not a lot of room..

I got some white LEDs but they are slightly blue-ish which looks ok but I would have preferred more white-ish I think so choose carefully!

Not a great picture but they look better than the standard yellow ones!
