Default 'Cheap' manifold

Found this on ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-S200...item19eb5a8937

Seems like a good price tbh. I don't necessarily want the people saying 'it's cheap because it's shit'. I don't expect this to be the best piece of equipment but it seems like it could be well made. Had a little search to see if it was a copy of any other and from what I can see it matches the Toda one closest with only a few noticeable differences. I'm quite tempted by it and wrap it so it makes my engine bay look a bit meaner. I'm not majorly fussed with gaining power although I wouldn't mind to, I just don't want to lose power lol I've seen EP3's gain power with replica exhaust systems and the parts look good quality, can anybody justify this manifold compared to a much more expensive one?

Thanks.

I'd be careful if I were you buying exhaust manifolds from the U.S. Nearly all of them don't fit due to our steering column being in the way. I think the PLM manifolds fit if you have an engine torque damper fitted.

Ah didn't take that into consideration lol I don't have a torque damper fitted. Just seen this one and looked better than the other 'cheap' ones.

Why not just wrap the oem manifold? It actually works very well so you're likely to make it worse with a cheap aftermarket one.

as above,
lots of problems with port matching with cheep made manifolds and other fitting issues also very thin walled

Here's my PLM fitted with an engine torque damper.

This is how close it runs to the steering column.

I did read that someone said that wrapping the standard one can make it crack?
