Default Check Engine Light

I'm 50 miles away from home (with the inlaws) ... it's late on Saturday night and it's time to come home - but my Check Engine Light has come on.

I've had a quick look through the forums and I know I can't drive if it's flashing, but if it's on constantly; so, can I drive home or am I stranded ?

I've recently had a service, and will be taking it straight back to the Dealer next week ...

Any advice appreciated

I think the owners manual says that you shouldn't drive at high speeds or high rpm's. Get it checked out ASAP.

Thanks. Have done some more searching and found a post from AquilaEagle:

Unless it is flashing it is ok, just don't VTEC.
Cheers.
