Childseat Groups 2&3
Greetings from the States!
I'm trying to get some information on an accessory sold by Honda in the UK - specifically, the child's booster seat listed as "Childseat Groups 2&3." Honda just doesn't love us as much as you guys, and it's not available in the US.
First, do any of you own and use this seat in the S with your kids? Is it just a generic Honda seat, or is it really made for the S2000's tight confines?
Second, if it's indeed fitted for the S, a point of contact at a dealership would be of great benefit.
Thanks for your time.

They only list a full seat with ISOFIX standard mounts - no good for the S2K as it doesnt have ISOFIX, normally only found in rear seat points.
In the weight range you mention in the EU they call it "Honda Kid" and its a full seat.

So not sure how you could fix one to the S2000 anyhow...
HTH, Steve.

In my owners book, it says to use the Honda ZOOM seat - 15KG to 36KG kids and put the seat right back.
You could use any generic seat that employs the regular seat belt instead of ISOFIX.
You'll need to lock the seatbelt though.

I'm using a Graco model right now. Unfortunately, the seat pan is too wide for the booster, so I'm wondering if this model has a more narrow pan, if you will, than most seats out there. It appears to be raised in the center and perhaps the pan is high enough to clear the bolsters of the seat.
Yes - I have an airbag cutoff in my S.

I sometimes use a Britax isofix seat (without the isofix of course) with the seat well back for short journeys.
But we in the UK do not have the airbag cutoff switch (I don't anyway) and my manual does specifically say that they strongly recommend not to carry children in the S2000.
