Default Cleaning the Engine Bay

Whats the the most effective solution to cleaning the bay. Worried about hosing as some welds already are showing rust deposits on my O2 car.

As recommended by Lisa, I use Autoglym engine cleaner - simply give the engine bay a good spraying with the stuff, leave fror 5 min's, then agitate with an old paint prush. Leave for another 5 mins then hose off, ensuring your airbox lid is on!

If you have rust showing, you should get it dealt with by a Honda dealer under the corrosion warranty.

Ian

Do the electronics get wet or do you limit the spray to the surrounds of the engine bay and not go near the actual engine?

Cheers

John
