Default Cleaning sump

I've had a baffled sump sitting around so god knows whats in it (and this may sound like a stupid question) but what can I use to clean it out with, obviously I don't want anything that will contaminate the oil.

Any thoughts....?

Thanks in advance

Autoglym engine and machine cleaner and a paint brush, rinse with water then dry with a heatgun. Unless you are lazy then give it a wipe and stick it in the dishwasher on a pots and pans cycle.
