From my limited experience of playing with cars like that (hardly anyone ever tries it on with me) they can put up a fight until you throw some corners in, at which point they very quickly become a dot in the mirror.

Oh, it's a stripped out Clio Williams (with race cams and a chip ~204bhp/ton) btw

Like all Renaults, power to weight ratios always improve with driving especially under hard conditions.

Clio Williams is >100bhp down on an S2K.

Couldn't have been trying.

(I had one of the first Clio 16v cars in the country ...... the build quality was the worst I have ever come across (3 clutch cables, rear window exploded, fuel pipe broke, wheels more corroded than the S) Luckily it was a company car)

Isn't Burnie (S2000silverVtec) from Chesterfield

And he owns a grey

Now we know the real reason why he's selling

Steven, I've edited one of my earlier posts to explain a little further.. 204bhp/ton. So could have been closer than originally thought.

Also found this one.. one to look out for if it ever makes it on the road

204bhp per tonne will be faster than an s which would be 17bhp per tonne down.

All about power to WEIGHT which so many people forget. How I get by with 'only' 190bhp I'll never know

Then take into account the top end if the race continues ?

Bye bye clio

What if the S2000 was stripped out to the same extent ?

Bye bye clio
