Does anyone know how easy or hard it is to clock the mileage of a S2000 so it reads lower?

I'm currently looking for a car and have seen ones that havesome with a few years on them with low miles, can we tell if a car's been clocked somehow?

 

Check all the paperwork.


I doubt you'll get an answer on here regarding how easy etc, as it would be like telling people how to do it!

 

hi there, if you go on ebay and search for mileage correction you will find your answer. unfortunately now all cars are digital it is easier to change. so if the car has no service history then its a walkaway from, if it does then you should be okay.

 

If you look on here you will find a lot of cars with low milage as many owners have a second car (or bike).

e.g. my car is now 4 years old and it has done just over 28k miles.

 

mine is 5 years and 22K genuine miles backed by paper work (and it is for sale in the UK FS section )

 

Mine = 4 years old, guarenteed 12k with paperwork.

 

3 years / 20k all doc'ed here, a lot of people use them as weekend cars so low mileage isn't unusual.
