Default Clonk when disengaging clutch

I've recently noticed a slight clonk when I disengage the clutch to change gear - bizarrely there is no clonk when re-engaging.

Is this backlash in the diff, worn prop shaft joints or something else?

Thanks for any pointers as to where I should start my investigations.

I had this, was an amalgamation of a propshaft that had shat nutella everywhere and a leaking diff mount.

Are the UJ replaceable or is it the whole prop shaft? I didn't know the diff mounts contained fluid - I'll look into that

Rear most mounts are fluid filled pieces of shit.

UJ are replaceable but you can get a second hand prop for around 50 which is often cheaper and easier. Very easy to swap prop, literally 12 bolts, but be prepare to have a hacksaw as the allen heads are made of cheese, like all honda s2000 bolts
