Default Clutch for 600bhp and more in future please help

Hi all I have a competition stage 4 clutch which I have checked up and not recommended power over 540bhp. Now this was in the car when I bought it and had been dyno'd for mapping (obviously) when I got it dyno'd again by dyno'd dynamics? Just out of curiosity to see what it is producing after had been ran in. Well they ended up slipping my clutch. But can argue with them with a clutch not being able to handle the power. I have been looking at triple plate carbonetics clutch as I'm looking to put more power in the future, best place to buy/get sponsored for car Shows/meets. Also would like to know whether the clutch can come in conjuction with a supra v160 gearbox. Thanks.

A lot of turbo people use either ACT or Exedy.

For example, Mr Pitts is currently at about 550bhp but will be going for more and he is using an Exedy twin plate.

Can the exedy twin plate be used with a supra getrag 6 gearbox if I can find one of these rare creatures? And are they nice to drive daily? Also how do you mean a modified slave cylinder? Thanks

Theres a company called 'Suprasport' (I think they are in Holland) that produce an adapter plate so you can fit the Supra Getrag to the f20c. Might be worth dropping them an email to get a definitive answer to that first question. I know Exedy do twin plate clutches for the S2000 and they would definitely do one for the Supra but I'm not sure which one you would need to purchase.

I think Razz is referring to the J's Racing clutch slave cylinder? It reduces the pressure required to use the clutch, (lighter pedal).

Ive gone for an "Action Clutch Stage 5" with the Js Racing slave cylinder.

They are an american company who specialise in drag racing clutches.

Exedy is nice, I drove to Italy and back on it. The j's cylinder is a must makes it easier to use as well as lighter. I've done track days, a string and lots of road miles probably around 10k and it's about half worn! It will hold 500lbft so enough for most s2000's as they don't make the tq.

yes I do have his old s2k. Love it, he's done such an amazing job on it. But still room for improvement.

Also thanks for all feedback. If I wanted to get a clutch to get by for a little while till I free up some cash for bigger things on transmission side. What is the suggestions? Act, action clutch? Exedy £1200 so not the cheapest option, specially if I can't use it on the transmission I want.thanks again
