Clutch biting very high
Literally the last inch or so. Generally I've felt this before when the clutch is going but it's not showing any signs of clutch slipping- basically flooring it in 4 th gear up a hill at about 40 mph it's not slipping .
Could it be that something needs adjusting? How much would a new clutch fitted cost?
Also the car is so responsive to throttle and starts jumping. I know I need to check throttle cable tension but the actual engine seems to rock very easily, a bumpy road coupled with a bad clutch release and can feel the engine rocking about. Would a torque damper help? How bad are the bad parts of a torque damper - vibration etc.

dont waste £s on cheep damper they are sh1t just a bit of rubber in a tube
a fluid type would be the only way to go,In the for sales <Js> but not needed for n/a road use.
tightened my cable up as was tad loose, takes a bit of getting used too with a steady right hoof, with the lightning throttle response these have, loosen it would help if you need to
