Yeah, CR-V and Civic are built in Swindon and later S2000s moved from the 'elite' Tochigi plant to Suzuka.

The thing is, all of the parts you mention are sub-assemblies built elsewhere, then shipped in and installed.

I have no doubt bugger all was wrong with your clutch M/C and that Honda greased the fork and robbed you of £125.

The Jizz is also made there too.

The old CofE was a very convincing car, but the latest gets lacklustre reviews.

Dunno if that's merely UK hacks Honda-hating, or it's actually one of the last completely lost their mojo* cars.

*There is aome suggestion that Honda has at last finally shat the bed & turned the place over looking for the mislaid mojo...

The new product may be some years away.

You've got to use ultra high temperature grease or it won't last, well 5 mins.

It depends on how well you cleaned it.

I used copper grease on mine and it was fine. I used copper grease on another car and it was good, then became crap.

This was down to it combining with the crap already there and turning solid!

Thoroughly cleaned it with a variety of solvents and it was all good then
