Default Clutch and Service in West Midlands

So, I need to have a clutch replacement, service, and MOT in the West Midlands pretty quickly. Can anyone recommend a good speciallist?

Thanks!

Brum. I need to get the clutch changed, the sleeve for the throwout bearing changed, a service, MOT, and a very small job that will take less than 10 minutes on a lift. When it rains it pours...

I know a guy in stoke but that would to to far for you. Tegiwa also offered a fitting service but unsure if they still do? And also Daytona-Dave may be able to assist but again distance will no doubt be an issue

Yeah, it would seem that on a car with 32k miles the collar that the throwout bearing moved on is stuffed, so the clutch and sleeve need to be replaced. As soon as I put any power on the clutch slips. I would rather go to a specialist than a dealer for cost reasons. The service and MOT are due now anyway, so it makes sense to do all at the same time. I really need to get this sorted by the end of the month which is the middle of next week.

Who do people use around Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton?

Anyone? Is there anyone around Brum, Cov, or Wolves that can recommend a garage?

This probably isn't what you are looking for, but when I had my S2000 I used the Honda main dealer at Erdington - Colliers - and always found them good. They were prepared to discuss servicing and pricing options, and were sensible about their approach to the work and the cost. They are very conveniently placed, too, because you can leave the car with them and hop on the train back to town, which suited me.

Tegiwa, spoke to you the other day and ordered the parts and scheduled for next Tuesday at Area Motorsports. I was looking for something a bit closer because I don;t trust my clutch too much at the moment, but since it's getting replaced I might as well go. Thanks for the tip.

If cost wasn;t much of an issue the Honda dealer in Solihul is quite good and understands the car, I just didn't want to use the dealer network. I'll give a review of Area Motorsports after next week, but they come well recommended.
