I think Honda do an IPOD adapter. But my choice has been to buy a Pioneer P75BT (new versions are the 80 and 85BT I think). I now have an IPOD (Thanks Santa!) so just need to buy the interface, which will allow complete control of the IPOD from the HU, including bringing the song title up on the screen etc (the Honda one won't do this). I know some of the newer Pioneers have the interface built in, and upgrading you HU will have the added bonus of HUGELY improving the sound of the system. Then you just need some speakers and sound deadening for the doors!

you still need a box of tricks to interface the controls to the HU. Modifry seems popular but there are others. Search the forum for Modifry and you'll find a lot of info.

I'm looking for a solution myself. I'd like to hook up my ipod or use a hard drive. I want to keep the interface simple so selecting tracks is not a PITA. My last experience with a Pioneer HU with ipod interface was that it was poor at navigating an ipod that had thousands of songs on it.

I'd also like something that works with sat Nav. I've recently been looking at sat navs that have an mp3 player option but I don't want one that uses an FM transmitter to integrate with the stereo but with the S not being the quietest car I would prefer to have asat nav that can use the internal udio system when giving directions.

I am putting in an Alpine IDA so will have a 9850i and full speed cable available shortly.
It worked superbly with the Modifry CDI.
I'm only changing as the IDA allows USB HDD's as well as the iPod.
