Default Is this the connector for the passenger seat ?

Morning guys

ok the airbag light came on yesterday and i think its due to a missing cable from the rear loom to the passenger seat - is this

the connector for it and then i assume it runs under the carpet and exits at the flap here

which must get connected to the cable at the back of the seat ?

Is that correct ?

Incorrect - it's the seatbelt warning light and you only have one on the drivers side. The only airbags you have are behind the dash / steering wheel. That's a connector for the headrest speakers that were a £1.2Bn optional worthless extra

Airbag warning light ... you haven't been fitting a new radio recently have you? Or rooting around behind the dash where the radio sits?

Nope but i have removed the passenger seat and also the passenger seat belt - then re-installed it

I am going to reset the system and hope that works

I'm pretty sure that first connector (behind the hook panels - behind the passenger seat) is for the hardtop demister loom to connect into.

The rest is true for the drivers seatbelt beeper through.

Oh, and sometimes the SRS cable reel behind the steering can become FUBAR, when mine went it perfectly coincided with fitting headrest speakers, hence me panicking for days about the possibility I had inadvertently drilled into one of the seatbelt pretensioners behind!

Thanks guys - had a good night with the car last night - did the trick with the paperclip and reset the system = the airbag light now goes off I also managed to put resin in the rollbar hoops and then clamped them together - the unsightly gap has also now gone
