Contributions to The Technical FAQ
Cheers for the answer Cedric. Time to make a few points about the Technical FAQs, without offending anyone - hopefully
This thread has been set up to provide help on questions that are frequently asked on the forum (hence FAQ!). I would like to think it covers most of the important issues that a new S2000 owner should know about.
I am not an expert on any aspect of the S2000, in fact I do not currently own an S2000, which means that finding out certain things like exact service intervals and fuse diagrams, which are in the owners manual, a bit difficult. New members will probably find that if they have queries about the FAQs - such as the recent mineral oil question - they will get more response by starting a new thread on the forum rather than adding the question to the bottom of the FAQ. Don't be scared, newbies, we don't bite - often
I would therefore appreciate it if, rather than just suggesting a topic of interest such as hard wiring or recall information and letting me do all the legwork, members could research these areas themselves and add the finished article (or nearly finished article) to the thread. I will then edit it into the FAQ sheet at the top.
I was considering sending Honda UK a link to this section and asking them to keep us updated with any new recall information or important stuff we should know about. Would I be wasting my time?

could you add this simple, yet valuable line to you doc
`Periodically remove, WD40 and refit all wheel nuts to the correct torque settings to avoid future seizures`.
Hotshot has a problem with his car which we can all learn from.

I had the same this afternoon, when getting new tyres. I replaced the locking nuts with standard non locking nuts straight away - if it had been a puncture on a country road, it could have been a long walk, or a damaged rim.
I think I'd rather take the risk of losing my wheels! That's what we have insurance for isn't it?

Any chance we could add a section on removing the airbox cover (I know its simple but some of the recent questions show that not everyone knows what to do), changing the air filter and how to de-badge the Honda decals?
