Schoolboy error on the spouse deception front that one I'm afraid.

All my eBay purchases used to be shipped to a mates house and either fitted to our bikes after a ride out or brought home discreetly, given a "cooling off period" in the shed and then snuck into the house.

Although given I bring in 93% of the household income, you'd think I'd have been able to "grow a pair" by now as a couple of earlier posters have suggested.

Making them out like they are evil blood suckers !

They're just being sensible d:

Anyway to cut a long debate short, why not just keep what ever you buy out of the view of the kitchen? Then how would she know? See, problem solved.

To be fair, my missus enjoys the cars we have and the mods. She has "street cred" with her students (secondary school) by having a CTR and an S2k.

If she turned up in a V8V, they'd kneel before her *

*Before one of the little fekkers keyed it..

no need to be devious and hide things simply buy them a present at the same time, after all you get the benefits of a new iron or vacuum cleaner in a round about way so its a win win situation.

Or you could just show her this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7625173.stm and tell her that you have too much money left over to spend
