Default A couple of niggles..

I was just wondering whether anyone could help me with a couple of questions I have.

The first is that when its been raining I've noticed that the roof seal thats half way along the top of the glass on the windows drips/leaks water ever so slightly. Its no major deal as its only a few drips at the most but was wondering whether this is a common problem with them and whether anything can be done to sort it?

Also, on a recent long distance trip I filled the tank up, used most of it and knew I had under 1/4 of a tank left at the end, but when I started the car up the next morning the fuel guage read that it was 3/4 full

It didn't sort itself out until I'd filled the tank back up again and now I've not had any problems since. Any ideas what that could have been? A stuck sender unit in the tank maybe?

Cheers,

I know from having cars in the past with batwing rear windows if they leak a bit of vaselene works well but it needs doing every time you open the window so would be a pain to do all the time with the S considering how often the roof comes down with me.....

guys be careful what you apply, there are many things that will make rubber supple but will actually damage it, for example Vaseline.

It's not a fuel gauge as such, more of a fuel usage gauge.

Basically if your driving round like your pants are on fire in VTEC all the time, it tries to predict when your going to run out of fuel. If however you stop this, and drive more sensibly it recalcs your fuel usage and sometime adds bars back to your overal fuel.

I have no idea if this is true, but I think it explains the erratic fuel gauge better
