Default Cracked Manifold

My exhaust starting blowing the other day and I finally got around to get it checked out at an exhaust place, guy behind the counter said to me that's my favourite car.

When it came to giving me their judgement of what needs replacing is first comment was 'That's put me off buying on of those'

Apparently the exhaust manifold has a crack near where the front pipe connects, Price to fix

Yep got to agree, weld the bugger up.

Failing that get one from a breaker.

Or if you are into modding, get a Ricks (on cost) or J;s Racing one.

I would go for a Rick's manifold.

It has similar power gains to the Mugen, mounting points for the OEM heatshield and it's less than half the price of a Honda one.

None then

Seriously though, id look at repairing it. If its on an easy to get part of the pipe its going to be loads cheaper to try a repair.

I was going to use it as an excuse with the missus to replace the whole system like I had been toying but did not know how to get it past the missus so now have the perfect excuse........

but I suppose the sensible option would be to get it welded up so better check that out first.
