Default cracked windscreen

Got in the car this morning and noticed a crack in my windscreen. Bottom right on drivers side.

Just wondered whether anyone else has experinced this one before? I didn't hear anything hit the windscreen over the weekend, although I am worried that it may have cracked after being washed. Could luke warm water have cracked the windscreen? It was cold this weekend.....

Going to call my dealer and see what to do next...

snap - I noticed one in the same position only passenger side - I think it's been caused by a stone but can't be 100% sure - gonna keep an eye on it - I am hoping it won't get any worse as the screen looks as if it's bonded in

Does the crack go all the way to the edge of the screen? Can windscreens be repaired or will it have to be replaced do you think?

I believe most insurers will pay for it to be fixed for free and with no damage to your policy - check for other threads on windscreens.
I think one owner is on his 3rd screen ! Possibly Anthony ?

I had one replaced just before Christmas.

It is normal for repairs to be free of charge, excess if a replacement is required is normally

Yep - from memory, Pete (PWE986) recommended Autoglass too.
