Default Cramp in right wrist when driving?

Does anyone else get this?

I was fine all last year but now when I go for a drive my right hand/wrist starts to ache. I'm 6"2 and have my seat all the way back but I feel like if I could only push the steering wheel back a couple of cm it would be perfect, but obviously can't do this !

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar thing, I've tried holding the wheel at "10 and 2" and also "9 and 3" - I'm not sure which is "best" but it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference to me. Kind of a drag as its ruining the drive now.

Maybe it's RSI from another activity with my right hand? Hmmm

I am also 6' 2" but I don't suffer from this. I always find it a bit too snug in the s most of the time though, but have more problems with aching knees from having to jam them under the steering wheel.. maybe you have longer arms, or have been doing something else you shouldn't have! Haha!

Yeh, I get an ache after a few hundred miles of driving, but I just switch hands for a couple of minutes and its gone. I never get cramp!

Yeaah.. it's weird as I never had it last year, only since I had the car out of storage the last month or so... Probably some bullshit RSI or something from using a crap mouse at work all day. lol

I get it in my hips occasionally on long journeys...but I am 6'6".

To prevent my arms aching on long journeys, my right hand is usually at 5 o'clock

I'm 6'4" and I find the best position is not all the way back but one notch in from furthest back and that means I can recline the seat one notch further back giving me a little more "reach".

That said, I don't get any wrist RSI Also, all people are different to play around with the driving position. At the end of the day the S2000 (and many sports/small cars) are not the best for tall drivers so you just have to fit the car rather than vice-versa.

I'm a shorty at 5ft9 but I've never had my hand cramp up. I get lower back pain on long journeys in the S2000 sometimes though. I do in most cars bar my shitty old Golf for some reason. Maybe I have a VW shaped back!
