Default CTL

I'm getting seriously worried about this group buy with CTL. We've all paid our £708 by BACS about a month ago. Initialy it was some issue with the suppliers causing delays. Then apparently when they finaly arrived, he said he was having trouble with couriers, and would deliver them himself during the week before xmas.

Since then, not heard a thing. I've left messages, emails, tried to ring repeatedly today (they are supposedly open). It's not a one man band, they say "our fully trained team are on hand, 5 days a week 9.00am until 6.00pm".

So when no one answers, this begins to look more and more like an elaborate scam. I've emailed, PM'd, rang, repeatedly and nothing...

Has anyone here completed a transaction with CTL and received the item?

Is anyone local to CTL who can see what's at their address? (Address here)

What should I do next?

That'd much appreciated if you could. It would be interesting to see what's physically there, and if anyone's in. I'll pm you my mobile in case some one is there that I can speak to.

Was there a reason why you couldn't use a credit card?

I don't think they accept credit cards and they charge an extra 4% for Paypal.

Yea, the reason will be along these lines. However, I'm hoping I'm not about to learn the hard way, why BACS is a bad idea...

I sincerely hope that CTL are legit.

I'm sure proper checks are done before somebody is allowed to become a UK Trader, maybe Ian could confirm this.

Just done a quick Whois check and the following line is a little suspicious to me, although it will hopefully be entirely innocent:
