Default Curiosity - S2000 CR

Out of sheer curiosity and for a little individuality - Anyone considered importing a S2000 CR?

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/944...-flawless-29k/

$29k is a lot of money for an S2k, it will be LHD, the 2.2 engine but v. rare on these shores. Anyone have any experiences / thoughts on what were they like compared with MY99?

Apparently that colour combo is very rare on US shores, only 22 ever made. If only I had the money, I would move out to California and use it there, haha!

I agree.

But I understood the SVA restrictions made it prohibitively expensive. Or is the car old enough now?

The type s isn't the same, softer suspension setup, still has the softop. There are probably other differences too.

Not sure if I like the different front splitter on them, door panels are nice though.

CRs really are overpriced.

Bit too much a case of fanboism (Although I am fond of the front and rear spoiler)

It's the S2000 equivalent of the EK4 Jordan.
