Interesting mod........

On the whole improving airflow question, does no one make vents for an MY04+ that direct the air coming in through the side vents? Ideally you then want to be able to attach some heat resistant tubing to the vent. This is assuming you have opened up the vents of course....

I know a company used to do brake cooling ducts for the earlier cars.....but have not seen anything for MY04+. Any creative ideas out there?

ukphil78 - the snorkel you have is a Muz +04 from the very first batch he made. He ended up replacing most of them and the withdrawing them due to clearance at the bonnet. THe slot in the front of it is there to clear some extra bracing on the +04 cars.
Some of the buyers of those snorkels did cut a hole in the bonnet and eventually got an acceptable fit. Most didn't.
The brake ducts you are thinking for the 99-03 cars are the GP sports one IIRC (check the bullet proof automotive web site)
AFAIK there is nothing for the +04 cars though I'm sure you could fashion something from the parts available from Demon Tweaks

jimpom23 - your car had a genuine Spoon one on with no need to cut the bonnet. The fake ones are not CF so are thicker and usually need the bonnet cutting

I found that guys website.

A website design classic

Follow the S2000 link at the top, and you'll see the products he makes/sells. i did e-mail him some time ago, but never got a response, so I'm not sur ehe's still making these items. I can't imaging it would be that hard to make your own.

And I never had to cut my bonnet either (being one of the "contradicting" ones ).
