Default DAB Arial

I'm looking to install a DAB arial into the S and was wondering if there was any info on here on how to remove the panels around the windscreen. I've had a bit of a search but not come up with anything...

They're dead easy to remove, from memory, they just pop out I think. Don't remember undoing any screws when I did it. Have a look for threads mentioning changing the roof strikers, there's info in there about removing the plastic panels on the windscreen.

All I did on the Civic was to push the wire behind the A pillar cover & drop it round the edge of the fascia moulding.

You don't actually need to remove the trim & risk damaging it.

There's enough friction to hold the wire level with the block in the middle of the twig.

Hardest part is not getting fingerprints in the sticky stuff.

The panels round the windscreen come out easily.

The ones on the pillars: pull outward at the top to unclip them and they should easily slide out at the bottom.

The trim across the top of the window: you need to unscrew and remove the sun visors and it will unclip in the same way. Warning: be careful when you screw the sun visors back in, I cross threaded one of the screws with very little effort.

The tech faq guide for hardwiring a Valentine one detector (I think) has a link to something with pics of the trim removal. It is as easy as mentioned above.
