Default Damaged during recall work

Cant belive it, I took my car in on Tuesday for the recall work and a new diff and some brake pads, I also complained that my car sounds like a sewing machine, I get a call on Tuesday telling me that a spark plug was loose and had been preignition and knackered the thread so a new cylinder head needed to be fitted, okay so Im pretty distressed already but looking forward to the car coming back running better and feeling better. Friday night I get the okay to go and collect my car and as I drive up I see it gleaming, they had had it valeted. At this point as im approaching my car I always look down the doors and wings to see if any dents have materialized and to my horror two small ripples on the front wing, went round to the other side and another one on that side. I couldn't belive it the lines of the car ruined by some arse all the months of pampering, parking away from other cars gone to waste. The guy who did the work wasn't there but his chief mechanic was and unfortunately I flipped and launched into a barrage of expletives saying that my car comes in for two jobs and goes need six but punctuated with the F word. I waited for about an hour to see the dealer principle who admitted liability and told him I wanted a new car and them to take mine off of me with a small contribution by me or repair the dents with no paintwork and no sign of a ripple give me a extra two years warranty and a hard top for all the agro. He is going to talk to Honda on Monday. Needless to say I am extremely pissed off. The dealer is a really good dealer but they obviously had a YTS on the job.

Do you mean they stuffed it into something and then made a bodge job of repairing the damage and hoped you wouldn't notice?

Colin.

Sorry to that you have had problems, and I hope you get full satisfaction from them. I see you are from Nottingham, who was the Dealer.

Pete, they have just lent on the wings whilst doing the work, I just hope they can get it repaired without painting.

Dave, its Gordon lamb at Chesterfield but they are normally brilliant, just have to see how brilliant when they come back with an offer.
