Decat
At the weekend I finally got around to fitting my T1R decat. Also fitted a new primary lambda sensor whilst I was under there. Bit worried about the ground clearance on the secondary sensor as i have the 'anti-fogger spacer'. Dont know why they dont move the boss slighty.
Not had any codes yet (about 200miles). The car feels a lot crisper though and throttle response feels great. Could be an effect of the lambda aswell.
I had read that the decat can reduce drone on other systems. However it doesnt seem to have done much to mine. Its quite a deep bassy system compared to vids Ive heard of other s2000s (Exhaustsuk dual system).
Also not sure about noise at the top end of revs, although i have not had the roof down yet. Definately seems a worthwhile mod though plus the car smells like they are supposed too
mmmmm Hydrocarbons

You'll notice even with a soft top that the bassy droney noises are accentuated. Also worth remembering that the decat may either move a drone to another part of the range or only reduce it. Not all drones go away completely
Depends on the exhaust really...

Yeah was just hoping it would have reduced it. Not too fussed though, only really annoys me in 4th -6th gear when accelerating gently up a hill. Really starts at 3k then at 4.5k its like a switch has been flicked and it goes completely
