That's it blue, the garage R decat has one on it hence why I have a spare one. You don't need to swap them for MOT in some cases...

Fitting one to mine got rid of the drone from the exhaust and was worth every penny just for that!

Rob is a top bloke and his products are up there with the best of them. I've got the very first production zorst system from him with a de-cat. The sound is AWSOME. It even made my mate with a V8 Vantage a bit envious. On the run back from Le Mans this year he said, 'bloody hell, this car sounds like my Aston'. To wic hI very helpfully pointed out that my cat cost less then half what his Aston did, and I can drive with my top down.

Decats definately improve throttle response in my experience, even on standard exhaust.

I felt no difference when I removed my decat, so left it off

I have the same exhaust too. Made a difference with the spoon though

when i had my row with a manhole cover i killed my decat, so i refitted the cat, and a mugen system.

i nearly cried at how silent it was, so i picked up a japspeed decat off MB i think it was and slapped it in there, bar my stupidity in not clicking the o2 sensor plug in correctly the car while still quiet, has a nice on vtec sound.

and apparently pops the odd afterburner style flame from both pipes according to my mates

tho my mates japspeed has a wee extension on the o2 sensor and mine doesnt.... i assume this is the anti fouler?

if i remember correct a decat frees up around 6 hp and a free flow cat around 5 hp so if you have the cash a 200 cel cat would give you an MOT legal system (as long as it looks oem from under the car) for the loss of 1 hp over a decat
even 6 hp is less than 3% gain so most likely wont make the slightest difference in performance on a standard engine
i could not notice much improvement in drone on a spoon N1 with or without decat

edit
when i went back to OEM cat i had the car in for a tweak on the map and they had to lean out the mixture a lot around Vtech, opinion was the decat leans the mixture out requiring more fuel around vtech transition
