I bought a Japspeed decat pipe and can't decide whether to fit it or sell it. I've got my mot in January so I do I fit it after that?
Is it worth the gains? My car is already quite
Noisy so do they really make a difference?

I fitted one to mine last week.

They are a doddle to fit with basic tools and the gains given in both performance and sound are well worth the 30min's spent fitting / replacing it come MOT time.

Before fitting our car was a bit droney when cruising at 75-80 but the drone has gone now the decat is on and has been replaced with a slight rasp which I really like.

Go for it, you've got nothing to lose

Tex, do you have a performance exhaust too or just the decat?

I've got a stainless exhaust fitted at the moment.

I think its a 2.5" bore twin exit system and i'm running a spoon manifold aswell.

Does the decat make a big difference with an exhaust as I have a Greddy TI-C dual exit at the moment waiting to be fitted & I am thinking about going decat whilst every thing is off the car?
