Declearing induction kit
Just about to renew my S2000 car insurance on a price comparison site, thinking of fitting a induction kit so when adding this as a modification would it be classed as a different air filter
Personally I wouldn't bother with such a minor modification. However it is recommended that you declare any modifications for insurance reasons. Its your choice, do you like to live dangerously (punk, do ya)?

Tthanks martin what company was that with, compare the market just has a tick box for air filter or other in the mod section
Same for me, K&N and Blue Flame exhaust and no extra cost with Admiral.
Personally I would always declare mods; it wouldn't be a great day out if your car gets written off and the third party's insurance won't pay owing to an undeclared mod.

I'd say always declare everything, it's not worth the risk by not doing it.
I've just insured my new S2000 with Sky Insurance, with the induction kit and Coilovers declared it made a tiny difference - about £20 for the year!
I've also declared the braided hoses, lower and upper braces and even wheel colour change to be safe!
