Default Diff Oil and Brake Fluid

My car is due a service and I will be supplying the fluids. Can you recommend some good diff oil and DOT 5.1 brake fluid please.

I've been told that i will need 2 litres of brake fluid and 2.5 litres of diff oil? Does that sound right?

Castrol srf brake fluid has a longer life span than the motul stuff. I've used redline diff oil but have heard there are better. Dixon suggested something different for the diff but can't remember what it was now!

2 litres of brake and diff fluid will be sufficient.

Used Motul for many years and haven't found anything better but recently changed to Amsoil Severe Gear and whilst it's always difficult to tell quality products apart, so far we are more than happy with it.

So I would happily recommend Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 or 75W-110. Personally choice for your application would be the 75W-110.

I believe Lubrication Engineers or LE oil for the diff is one among the bests. Great lifspan aswell. I use ATE blue for brake fluid

I use Motul 90PA for the diff and brake fluid is boggo Castrol DOT4.

The RBF stuff costs a living fortune and as my car doesn't live on a track, I fail to see the point.
